Starring Jack MacBrayer and Rich Talarico. This is one of two spots for a campaign by Proctor&Gamble spoofing Starbucks.
It was fun turning a small Chicago coffee store into a mock Starbucks, complete with all the merchandising. We also had to come up with a fake logo that looked close enough to Starbucks and received approval from the lawyers.
Fun Fact #1: This may have been Jack MacBrayer’s first professional gig. I had met him at the Annoyance Theater through mutual friends and thought he’d be perfect for the part.
Fun Fact #2: Rich Talarico broke his ankle a few days before the shoot, so we had to hide the fact that he was wearing a cast and limping.
